Ms. Cassandra - Violaist
Cassandra has been playing the violin for over 20 years. She started her violin lessons at 7 and began to learn piano at age 9. Throughout the middle and high school, she competed and placed in music competitions and received several opportunities to play with orchestras as a soloist.
In 2015, she earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance at Soochow University, Taiwan. Later, she decided to go abroad and gained her Mater of Music degree in Violin Performance at University of North Texas in 2017. During her time in UNT, she won the UNT chamber music competition with a string quartet in 2016.
She started teaching in her undergraduate and found the sense of achievement came through the success of the students. She’s actively teaching violin and viola in the DFW area. She loves to explore new area, from solo violin, chamber music, conducting, fiddle to sports and even psychology.
Other than teaching, she continuously improves her playing on violin. Apart from her many recitals, she played in many concerts of Mckinney Philharmonic Orchestra, Monroe Symphony Orchestra, Flower Mount Community Orchestra and several more orchestras, due to her love of performance.
